Easal Mar was a Jedi Knight of the Old Republic. Having trained on the Chu'unthor, Easal went on to become a very powerful Jedi Knight. Supporters of the Chu'unthor and what it represented very often pointed to those powerful Jedi Knights such as Easal Mar and Ainvar ul-Esca as examples of the kind of Jedi Knights to come from its teachings.
